I have them on my 2013 RAM CTD since Oct. 2013. These tires took me through the worst Illinois winter in over 10 years. Never got stuck, had very good traction and could travel through blizzards. Currently the 80% remaining wear indicators (nice feature) are just fading after 19000 miles! Very sure footed tire, and they performed flawlessly while towing my camper this summer. I have never noticed any tire noise.

I bought these tires in the early winter of 2014 and have been impressed ever since. I chose to go with a slightly larger tire size for my Jeep Wrangler because Nokian doesn't provide exact sizing. I believe my Rotiiva tire size was 265/70r/17. The size was really my only disappointment -- maybe this review will make the manufacture think twice, in that there is a lot of market share they could be delving into. First impressions of the tires came after they were installed by Kal-Tire in mid november. I had set an appointment and the day of the appointment a snow storm had blown in and didn't let up for days after. When I left the parking lot I noticed right away that they gripped better than the original duellers. The real test came a few minutes later when I had to make a quick stop at an icy intersection. Whoa!!! These tires stopped on a dime. In fact, over the entire winter I barely noticed my ABS engage. For an all-weather tire this is unheard of. My next big test was taking them out into the rockies on snow/icy roads. I went for a hunting trip near Waiprous in -30*c, on that day the snow was deep and chunky, with various patches of ice. Again the Rotiiva's performed in every single winter condition, including plowing through some very deep snow with ease. I have been able to test them only slightly this spring, but it is certain that they will go into the moutains many more times as they did this past winter. They will be tested in the mud, on gravel roads, and various mountain trails. After 10,000km and two oil changes, they still have 100% tread. I am impressed with these tires, they are safe and they perform. I will review again in the future, but am certain they will perform how they need to. Well done Nokian.

Had the tires 10 months, I live in northeast Arkansas where summers are hot and winters can be wild from single digits to mid 50s in 24 hrs. While I've only put about 6k miles on them tread wear is minimal in comparison to tires I've run before. Traction is superb, I've yet to find a place where I can't get traction. The handling is very good in town, on the highway, and even running rough wet back roads. So far I'm impressed, I'll update later once I've put more miles on them.

I have 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD and have just put 83000kms on a set of 265/70/17 load range E Nokian Rotiiva tires. I run them year round and have been very pleased with their performance. I could probably get another 10000km on them but it's October and will change them out with another set of the same. I am not a fan of the summer / winter wheel change outs and this tire I ran year round with confidence as it had a good treadwear and winter traction rating...with the Mountian snowflake- it doesn't get much better unless there studded and I don't feel where I live it's required. I mostly travel highway and the tires have performed well in all winter conditions, when I also have "driven to conditions" and not had unrealistic expectations. Bottom line I would recommend trying these tires, the only small concern I had was I needed to balance them with every 10-14k tire rotation due to very minor imbalance as they wore out, after about 50000km they didn't need to be balanced again. Travelling highway a lot I like a smooth ride so I may have been a bit particular. Please note I did very little towing and just hauled average box payload now and again. Heavy summer towing may cause much heavier wear.

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 that is my ride for commuting to and from school (30+ miles round trip) and getting around to other places. I used to buy a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires. I finally ended up deciding about a year ago, that having two sets of tires was ridiculous. I wasn't getting great longevity out of either my Michelin summer tires or Bridgestone winter tires. I decided it was time for a change. I wanted to have one tire that I could run all year long, get longevity out of, and also perform as good as the Bridgestone Blizzack tires. I went to my local Tire Factory and told them what I was looking for. They recommended the Rotiiva A/T's hands down and said they ran it on their own personal cars. I decided to give them a shot after the manager explained all of the cool technology and attention detail that Nokian had put into the tires. I've now had them a whole year and gone through a nasty winter and can say proudly that they performed as well if not better than my previous winter tires and are holding up really well. They are a great fit for the weather conditions here in Portland, Oregon. The funny thing is they even sat my truck up higher and gave it a more confident look and feel overall. These have been great tires and I highly recommend them. I plan to look for Nokian tires for my entire fleet in the future. Keep up the great work, Nokian! These are some really good tires.

I put these on my 2008 Highlander and noticed a big difference in overall handling as soon as I drove out of the tire shop. I am now heading into my 3rd winter in New England with these tires and I am so glad I made this purchase. My biggest concerns were how they would wear and were they as good as "dedicated" snow tires. The winter traction is outstanding and tire wear is fantastic. Temps here can swing ~100 degrees between winter lows and summer highs but I only recently wore off the 80% wear indicator after close to 25,000 miles. I will never go back to switching between regular and "dedicated" snow tires again and will never shop for another tire brand. Now I am just waiting for the wife to finish off her set of dedicated snow tires and then I'll be putting some Nokians on her minivan.

I have a 2011 ford e350 service van, and it came with a brand new set of Rotiiva's on it; which incidently were the same ones I had on my last service van. I 100% trust my life to these tires, driving in any/all conditions here in western Canada. Love LOVE the handy wear guage on the tire itself. Reading the other reviews, I totally concur with everyone else's summation of the tires. No word of a lie...this rubber is the best!! Thank you Nokian

I bought a set of 265/70/17 load range E for my 2006 f150 a year and a half ago I drive roughly 2500 miles a month , a little over 35000 miles a year.I have had zero problems with my tires. They feel just as good as the day I put them on my vehicle.I had already put roughly 46,759 on my tires and I cannot believe they still look good probably half worn. I use to run BF Goodrich on my truck and I usually get about a year out of them. Not only have I got a half a year more I saved quit a bit on these tires. I will not skimp when buying anything for any of my vehicles, I am set in stone you get what you pay for so I was second guessing myself when I bought these Nokian tires. I have never heard of them and the cost was quit a bit lower then what I am use to paying for tires. My good friend told me he has them on his truck and said he loved them so I figured what the hey, I couldn't be happier and will gladly buy another set when ever these tires decide to wear out. These are the best darn tires I have ever bought.

Went from Michelin LTX M/S to these on my 2001 Infiniti QX4 while in Oregon's snow storm this past February. I was ready to purchase new Michelin's when the rep mentioned these and I'm glad he did. Being from southern California we don't experience snow but he claimed this is one of the best all around tires for an SUV. In Portland I had the opportunity to run these on 12+" of fresh snow as well as ice and slush and I was very impressed. I have about 10k on them and wearing very well. Quiet on dry and very sure footed in rain and excellent in snow. I'm going to order a set for my other QX4 when the time comes.

Haven't had these tires for a year yet and under 22,000 km on them. Tires are peeling and chunks of rubber are falling off. Got 2 of the 4 tires replaced but Kal tire wanted $190 to replace the other 2 tires. Tires are half wore out in under a year. I am not spending another cent to keep the same tires. Great on ice terrible on muddy roads. Like driving on banana peels. With chunks of rubber peeling off quite noisy and some vibration. Have tried 2 wheel alignments and everything was good.

I have these on a Dodge 2500 with a diesel in it. Traction on snow, sleet, rain, wet grass, on forest service roads and fire roads is excellent. I had Cooper AT3's on before and the Nokians are 100x's better. They wear very well and evenly. I got about 60,000 miles on them. Rotated. every oil change. Very smooth, quiet tire. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Especially in the rain and snow. Hands down best tire I've had on my Dodge diesel.

I live in north-western BC and because of the coastal climate we experience everything water related during the winter months; freezing rain, slush, huge snowfalls, icy roads, roads that aren't plowed as often as they could be, etc. etc. Normally I am running studded Nokian winter tires which combined with my Toyota FJ means I am not going anywhere I don't want to be going when driving down the road. I'm a bit late in getting the Rotiivas off this year and our area was hit today with a substantial blast of winter; freezing rain, icy roads, heavy snow and slush all in one day courtesy of El Nino. I was amazed at how even in the absence of studs, the Rotiivas did almost as well as my winter dedicated studded Nokian SUV tires. This is the first time they were driven in this inclement weather and I have to say I was very pleased at their performance, I thought for sure I'd be able to pull off at least a couple doughnuts in our cul-de-sac but not such luck, they were stuck to the road. In the summer, I do a lot of off road driving and on loose gravel and rocky roads they have plenty of grip and I have yet to see any sidewall damage from going over fresh blast rock. Nokian makes the best tires you can possibly buy.

I wanted a true all-season tire on my 2005 Sierra 1500 Z71 and my search directed me to Nokian; a brand I never even heard of. After some brief research, I discovered these tires are used exclusively in snowy countries throughout the northern hemisphere such as Europe, Russia and Canada. No snow yet in NJ, but so far in the rain, on the sand and in dry conditions, they handle well. LOVE the treadwear indicator. Several people compleimented me on how well these tires look on a P/U and asked lost of questions after I was pulling out of STS when installation was done. The price was right and I would buy again if needed.

Had these on my 2011 Ford Ranger 4x4 for 2 full winters now, very satisfied overall. Traction in snow and ice is terrific, where I live in Canada that's a big deal we have a 6 month winter. Tires are not noisy and handle well on wet roads too. No issues with flats, reasonable wear as expected (about 50% left after approx 40k km, run at about 30psi) with mixture of mostly highway and bit of gravel. Lots of good practical technology in these tires like the cooling fins to help decrease wear, lots of siping for ice, rock ejectors and easy to read wear indicators that a 21st century tire should have. I like that Nokian looks at reducing rolling resistance on tires to help increase fuel efficiency too. Cosmetically nice, just FYI one sidewall has a more rugged pattern look more becoming on a truck and the other side is a little more benign like a car tire if you prefer, make sure you tell them what side out when installing . The only thing I don't like is not having the white letter option like the Vatiiva used to have, I wish Nokian would bring it back for this tire. I'd consider these a premium tire, they're made in Russia and well made. Overall very happy with with tires. They excel in all season all weather performance in a northern climate and save me from buying or needing dedicated winter tires which is what I wanted, though I wish they had white lettering. The tires were bought through Kal Tire and they've been good to me. They're not a cheap tire but you get what you pay for with them, buy with confidence.

I live on a mountain top and didn't want to have dedicated winter tires so selected the Rotiva's after much Internet research. Took my OEM's off at 300 kms and replaced with Rotiva's. Three years and 71,000 kms later, the wear bar still shows 40% left. Driven in city, highways, fields, snow, slush and on ice. This tire is impressive and delivers. By this fall, I will be replacing them to ensure continued capability under extreme winter conditions.

I have these tires on my F150 pickup for 35k miles so far and they are performing good. Half tread is left on the tires and it seams that the wet/snow traction has significantly dropped off. Originally the tires were amazing in all conditions on the road and light trail use. These tires should be rotated frequently or they start to wear quickly on the outside edges. I think the old Vativa AT treads had better winter grip but these tires still work good and they are smooth and quiet on the highways.
