I bought this to replace my Goodyear assurance weather ready which were wearing down. Better price and awesome traction. Makes snow driving almost boring which is great for our family SUV. No passenger fear or white knuckle driving.

Replaced Kumho Solus on 2018 Optima LX; perfect all-around alternative, good traction/wear and quiet....would buy again in a second.

Just did a cross country trip with these. They definitely saved me by keeping me on the road while on white out snow, and ice covered roads! Absolutely love these tires. I'll be sure to get them again!

I put these tires on an older Lincoln town car and I have to say they ride much better than the Michelin's I took off. Very smooth and quiet. No reason to doubt that they will be great this winter.

I used to sell tires for a competitor, and I am extremely picky about my personal tires. The Encompass tires on my RAV4 gave me supremely confident grip in all conditions, coupled with a smooth, comfortable ride. As someone who drove all over the Midwest for work in all seasons, I could not miss a day no matter what the roads were like. Encompass gave me the peace of mind to drive in all conditions. UPDATED REVIEW - 08/21/2022 - FOLLOW UP Summary: These are the best tires I've ever owned. Best traction in rain and snow, Was able to drive in snow up to 6" deep with complete control. Unless you have studded snow tires, do not drive in icy conditions, snow tires do not work on ice. No noticeable tread-wear after 30,000 miles. Rotated every 7,500 miles. After looking at the pricing for snow tires, I decided to purchase these AW01 Nokian Tyres because they offer excellent traction in any weather event. Not worried about them wearing out when the weather gets warmer. Interested to see just how they perform in snow and ice. Another review will be submitted when I actually get to drive them in the snow and ice. Very good pricing for such a great tire. Hope it snows soon so I can see just how great they are. Purchased for a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I have four other cars/trucks that may be getting these, too. Should be interesting. More reviews for these tires will follow soon. So I have already put some miles on the tires and have noticed that snow traction degraded after first year considerably. WRG4 and WRG3 did not do that! These tires proved to be excellent in wet weather which is odd for tire that should be good in snow. Those two usually don't go together. At temperatures between 50 and 32 degrees these tires just shine, it feels like this is the exact weather they are made for. My car feels super secure whereas Nokian ones does not provide these feeling. However at 30 degrees traction starts getting worse, still better than any all season. But because I need good snow traction more than just for a year I will not be buying these again, will try their other new model.

I bought these tires after driving the stock tires that came on my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. After skidding through every intersection and hill, I decided that I needed all weather tires. I walked into my Discount Tire and they hooked me up with these Nokian Tyres and I'm super happy with how well these tires work over the stock Yokohomas.

A very strange tire. advertised as a weatherproof tire, but it is actually very similar to a winter tire. A kind of hybrid of Nokian One and WR G4. The tire has soft sidewalls, so much so that the reaction to the steering wheel is delayed, as if instead of a 45 profile you were driving a car with a 65-70 profile of the tire. Delayed reactions can be partially compensated for by increasing the pressure to 2.6-2.7 bar (38-40 psi), but this has a significant impact on comfort. With active braking, without locking the wheels and activating the abs, clear black marks remain on the asphalt. That once again speaks about the softness of the tire, in turn, the Treadwear 600, raises doubts. The quality of workmanship and the place deserve as well. Tires made in Russia, I know very well what "Made in Russia" is. The Flange Shield is very thin and not credible. When driving at speeds of 45+ mph, a pulsating hum is heard. This is not an all-weather tire, it is a mild winter tire.
