Excellent summer tire for ANY car!

I work at a tire shop and got a set of these to test out on my Mitsubishi Evo 8 RS. I'm very hard on my tires whether it's street driving or drag racing at the local track. To be honest, I expected these to be a smooth and quiet summer tire with fairly adequate grip. I did not have hopes of them handling my power or abuse. Here is what I found: Ride quality is as smooth as glass, quiet also. Wet traction is incredible. Dry traction and handling are excellent - I actually ran a 12.3 1/4 mile with these pretty consistently. My fuel economy has actually improved. I've since put them on my fiance's car and recommended them to many customers and friends. I wish Nokian would step up and build an auto-x or much higher performing summer tire, just because I know they can do it well. But, in the meantime I'm more than happy with my zLines. Anyone who runs dedicated winter tires should STRONGLY consider these for their summer tire.

I purchased these last summer for my Audi A4 and they have been simply fantastic. Extremely stable at high speeds and impeccable traction in the rain. I work in the tire industry so I have extremely high standards - Nokian zLine exceedes them by every measure.

This is the second set of Nokian tires, (have line Nokians on my MB E420). These are so much more quiet and better rolling than the Nexen tires that came with my Optima Turbo. Rated excellent by Consumer Reports (tied with Michelin Pilot Super Sport ), I got 225/55/17 Zlines for $110.00 (free shipping) compared to $148 for the Michelins. So happy with both sets of Nokian summer tires, will only use Nokian from now on.

I have had a set of the Nokian zline tires for 2 months and over 5,000 miles. I have been very happy with every aspect of this tire. The grip in wet and dry is beyond outstanding and I am averaging around 40 mpg with these tires.

I have bought three (3) sets of the Nokian Zline 235/45/18. While driving in Florida during a very bad storm, these tires performed so well that I was the only one in the highway capable of going 60+ MPH while all the other drivers were going 40MPH max. I wasn't trying to go fast and overtake the other drivers; the tires just made the car feel so sure footed that it was very comforting. Indeed these tires are very good in wet conditions and that's why I bought them. They are great in dry conditions as well, but the sidewall are not as hard as other high performance tires. Nevertheless, you want these tires if you are going to be in locations that are very wet.

After using Nokian winter tires for the past 18 years and being very happy with them I decided to try their newest A/S tire. I was considering a full summer version of this tire but I live in Oregon and it rains a lot. After looking at Michelin A/S 3+ at $150 a tire I found these 215/45ZR 17 tires at Walmart online for only $55 per tire. Rolling the dice I bought them. Wow! They are smooth, quiet, hold corners at 2x posted speed no problem with comfortable sidewalk flex that never felt like it was going to surprise me and let go. Well done Nokian! I drive a 2007 Subaru Legacy GT wagon.

I've driven about 8,000 (spirited) miles on these so far, and the performance is great. No issues with either dry or wet conditions, they're subjectively quieter and more comfortable than the OEM tires they replaced.
