New Nokian Tyres Campaign Invites Drivers to Share What’s on Their Horizons

Nokian Tyres’ Horizon campaign asks drivers to share the trips in their futures, for a chance to win free tires

DAYTON, Tenn. – At the end of a challenging year, Nokian Tyres is inviting drivers to turn their eyes to the road ahead for a chance to win free tires and other prizes.

The tiremaker has launched a website, NokianTires.com/Horizon, where drivers can submit the road trips they hope to take in 2021. The trips will be collected on a user-generated map, and visitors to the Horizon website can click on any journey to learn more about key stops.

The website also features road trip tire safety tips, a dealer locator and information about Nokian Tyres products. Nokian Tyres has also built a list of great road trips every U.S. state and many Canadian provinces, along with a detailed blog post about each trip.

“We all hope 2021 will provide a smoother journey than the one we experienced this year,” said Nokian Tyres North America Director of Marketing Hans Dyhrman. “We’re giving drivers a chance to tell us where their journeys may take them in the new year, as part of a campaign to raise awareness that our high-quality tires can help get them get to their destinations safely.”

Drivers in the United States simply have to submit a road trip, a name and e-mail address between Dec. 14 and Jan. 8 to enter to win the free set of Nokian Tyres products and other prizes, including lift tickets to POWDR resorts throughout the U.S. Winners will be randomly selected and informed at a later date.

The campaign is the latest of several initiatives Nokian Tyres has launched this year to inform and entertain drivers. Its Fresh Start campaign helped drivers keep their cars fresh while many sat idle in the garage during the challenging spring season. Ten Rules of Tires featured a website and blog articles about core tire safety principles drivers should remember on the road.

Nokian Tyres opened its North American factory in Dayton, Tennessee last year. The inventor of the original winter and all-weather tires, Nokian Tyres has long been recognized as an industry leader in innovation. It is also ranked among the most sustainable publicly listed companies in the world, and its Dayton Factory recently became the first tire production facility in the world to earn LEED v4 Silver certification.
