Nokian Tyres to Serve as Presenting Sponsor of RendezVan, a Celebration of Camping and Van Life Culture
The Scandinavian tire company is supporting the first-year event at Mt. Bachelor, Oregon April 17-21
BEND, Ore. – Nokian Tyres, a life-driven tire company committed to safety and sustainability, is celebrating that mission as presenting sponsor of RendezVan, a five-day camping and van-life-inspired festival taking place at Mt. Bachelor, a POWDR resort in Bend, Oregon.
The inaugural RendezVan will be filled with skiing and riding, music, après ski activities and more at one of the largest ski mountains in North America. The event celebrates a unique tradition at Mt. Bachelor: a community of skiers who camp out each spring so they can get an early start on the slopes.
Nokian Tyres will offer giveaways and opportunities to engage with its brand at the event, which serves as a celebration of spring at the Oregon resort. The company’s presence will include a fat tire bike roaming the village, a solar-powered phone charging station and a booth with information about the company’s passion for crafting sustainable products.
“RendezVan is a fun new way to commemorate the arrival of spring, and we’re excited to participate,” said Nokian Tyres North America Director of Marketing Hans Dyhrman. “We look forward to enjoying the festivities with a vibrant group of adventure enthusiasts.”
Nokian Tyres is in the second year of its relationship with POWDR and hosts special promotions, events and activations at many of its nine ski resorts in North America. The partnership is a key element of the company’s outreach to drivers who value safety and sustainability.
At the epicenter of RendezVan will be a festival village with live music and entertainment, local food trucks offering creative local flavors, giveaways and contests, family-friendly activities and more.
