Nokian Tyres to Showcase All-Terrain Outpost Tires at Overland Expo Mountain West
The company will communicate with overlanders about two all-terrain tires rolling out of its North American factory
DAYTON, Tenn. – Nokian Tyres will reintroduce drivers to its all-terrain Outpost product family at Overland Expo Mountain West this weekend, August 25-27, in Loveland, Colorado. The tiremaker will host a booth that offers overlanders information about the Nokian Tyres Outpost nAT and APT, a tire raffle, games, giveaways and even an opportunity for the company to plant a tree on their behalf.
The Nokian Tyres Outpost nAT and APT roll throughout the United States and Canada from the company’s North American factory in Dayton, Tennessee. The Outpost nAT is an aggressive all-terrain tire built for extreme situations and everyday use. The Outpost APT is designed for drivers who major in highway driving but also enjoy taking their vehicles off-road. The Nokian Tyres Outpost nAT and APT are exclusively sold in North America.
The products are infused with Aramid fibers and come with a Pothole Protection warranty that makes them a great fit for off-road enthusiasts. Both tires are certified with the three-peak mountain snowflake that indicates they are suitable options for year-round driving, including in winter conditions.

Nokian Tyres launched the Outpost Family in 2022 and moved their assembly to North America this year. The Nokian Tyres Outpost nAT, which stands for “New All-Terrain Tire” or “North America All-Terrain,” made its debut this spring in place of the Outpost AT. The Outpost nAT shares many similarities to its predecessor, but with a slightly different tread pattern and sidewalls tailored to the demands of American and Canadian roads.
The Nokian Tyres Outpost APT is an all-purpose-terrain tire versatile enough to let drivers of SUVs, crossovers and small light trucks thrive in all conditions, from getaways to the daily grind, thanks to Aramid sidewalls and an adaptable tread compound.
The Outpost Family comes from Nokian Tyres’ award-winning Dayton Factory, where the company plans to double production in 2024 after hiring 125 new team members this year.
